About me

I am experienced in working with people of all ages and offer support to adults as well as children, young people and their families. I speciality is in working with children and young people. I feel that by offering the right support at the right time the challenges of growing up can feel a bit easier. I am particularly interested in helping new parents adjust to life at home with a new baby.

I began my career working within the NHS with adults who were experiencing severe mental health problems. Over the years I have become interested in how our early life experiences can shape who we become. As a result, I decided to train as a child and adolescent counsellor and have been offering this service to families since then.

I currently work part-time in the NHS supporting new mothers who are struggling to adjust to life with a new baby.
