Charmaine Clarke has recently qualified as a Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage (RLD) practitioner and now offers this treatment from our practice.
Combining the principles of reflexology and manual lymphatic drainage, results from recent research (publication pending) showed a positive trend and suggest that RLD may be helpful in the management of secondary lymphoedema following treatment for breast cancer.
Findings also support the general principles of reflexology. Also, it has been suggested that this form of reflexology could be beneficial for people with certain auto-immune conditions.
