Eight Years: New Name, New Look

We are celebrating our 8th-year anniversary in business this week, which in previous years hasn’t been something we make much of an event of. So, we’ve been planning something a little different this time and we are excited to share with you our new name and new look!

We have changed our name to Woolpit Clinics, which best represents the self-employed practitioners and therapists that work independently, providing both clinic and therapeutic services. The team here provide both in-person and online services which include:

Our logo incorporates a modern interpretation of The Tree of Life, which for us symbolises growth and holism. The beauty of The Tree of Life is that it’s open to personal interpretation, yet almost all interpretations are positive and inspiring. A sentiment which we hope carries with our continued message of how a holistic approach to our health is so important, because your health matters

Alongside our rejuvenated branding, soon we will offer a new affordable counselling service, in conjunction with University Studies, which is part of the West Suffolk College Group. This will allow us to provide placements for student counsellors undergoing their second or third year of a bachelor’s degree in Integrative Counselling.

It gives students – that have undergone an interview process – the necessary opportunity to work with people on a one-to-one basis, either online or in person, in a safe and professional environment. In turn, we are able to refer those in need of an affordable service within a framework that we are both confident in and proud to support.

Each student counsellor is currently required to fulfil 100-hours of one-to-one counselling, in order to obtain their full membership with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Further details of how this service can be accessed, will be shared over the next month.

We have a few more announcements to make over the coming weeks to make our 8th year extra special and we can’t wait to share them with you. Also, today is apparently Suffolk Day as well as (of course) Summer Solstice… A truly celebratory day for all!
