44 Per Cent of Britons are Stressed

The National Hypnotherapy Society  has stated that new research, carried out by Bupa, has found that 44 per cent of Britons are suffering from stress.

Those aged between 45 to 54 years were the group most likely to experience stress regularly.

In terms of gender, women were more likely to say they felt under pressure than men, at 49 per cent and 39 per cent respectively.

The most common causes of stress were outlined as money concerns (20 per cent), work (18 per cent), family life (eight per cent) and living with a long term illness (seven per cent).

If you feel that you are suffering from stress, there are a number of complementary therapies that can help you regain a sense of balance and control. Hypnotherapy can be a useful tool for stress management.

Also, if you are looking for a more hands-on approach for stress relief, Holistic Massage or Reflexology can help to restore balance and allow you to cope with life’s stresses.
