Why Counselling and Play Therapy for Children?

I had such a strong sense of wanting to help children understand their world better. I didn’t want to be a teacher or anything really to do with schools but knew also that I wanted to work on a one to one basis. A friend of mine had starting training to be a child centred therapist and after talking to her I was totally inspired by that. I started my training both with children and adults involved and realised that it was an amazing fit for me and the rest as they say is history.

What does ‘health’ mean to you?

Balance. By that I mean trying to find peace in a balance of the mind body and spirit which enables contentment. Not always easy and I am constantly striving for it but the closer I am to this the more I have a sense of well being and I know as a consequence my system is working well.

Bonus Music Question: favourite song of all time?

Such a difficult question!
At the same time. If I have to pick one it could be Fairground by Simply Red.
