Suffolk Fertility Group

From November, we will be home to the Suffolk Fertility Group. This is a volunteer led group, supported by Fertility Network UK.

The Fertility Network UK are a national charity that offer free advice, support, information and understanding.

Similar to our own ethical framework, Fertility Network UK are patient-focused and offer support for anyone considering their future fertility, for those trying to become parents, for anyone facing the challenges of childlessness, for people successful after fertility issues or even for anyone needing help to access NHS-funded fertility treatment.

We understand the widespread impact of fertility issues. Individuals can be affected physically, emotionally, socially and financially; family, friends, relationships and work can all suffer. Feeling depression, sadness, frustration, anger, helplessness and isolation are common.

That’s why we are here on a practical and emotional level to support and advise you – whatever your experience of fertility issues. Fertility Network UK

The first monthly group meeting is on Saturday 18 November: 2pm – 3pm.

“Infertility is still a taboo subject, which can add to the feeling of isolation and despair felt by couples and individuals at an already fraught and emotional time. Your struggles are personal but you are not alone. We are a small, relaxed and welcoming group who meet monthly to provide an outlet for anyone facing fertility issues, regardless of gender, age, relationship status or sexual orientation. Our aim is to help you feel supported and understood. New members are always welcome – just turn up!” Christine, Suffolk Fertility Group Organiser.
