NHS Live Well and Complementary Therapies

Knowing that information and support from the NHS is widely trusted in the UK when it comes to looking after your health or the health of others; we took it upon ourselves to read through the NHS choices website. Focusing on the Live Well section, we wanted to see what our National Health Service perceives as factors attributing to our well being and some of the more common health concerns we face.

It turns out that from a list of 126 categories, of which 79 are specific to health conditions and/or emotional and physical well being, Woolpit Complementary can provide services and support for up to 57 of those listed. That’s over 70% coverage of the key topics raised, and there are more aside that are not targeted on their website.

Topics range from Weight Loss to Women’s Health, Allergies to Back Pain, Men’s Health to Pregnancy.

The NHS suggest that Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) can be beneficial for your well being and in turn, emphasizes the importance of trust and understanding when looking for a qualified practitioner.

The reason for this post is to show that the NHS is a trusted source of information and acknowledges a lot of common health issues as well as the benefits that can be had by proactively looking for alternative methods for treatment.

If you are unsure about what complementary therapies could do for you, why not do a little bit of research, speak to someone who has received therapy and ask for their experience of it, or quite simply, come to us.

We provide a free Clinical Consultation and Assessment for anyone who is unsure of what they need or would like more information.

All you need to do is call or email to book an appointment. The free consultation will only last 15 minutes. You don’t need to commit to anything we suggest, if you don’t feel comfortable doing so.
